Sawyer Robust Filters Ltd.
Reverend Pastor Rebero Théophile, as a Rwandan by nationality and his team, worked with various humanitarian NGOs after the 1994 Genocide, massacres, and wars in Rwanda. Those NGOs were having in their responsibilities and duties catering for vulnerable communities in terms of attempting to provide out clean and safe water for drinking and for some other means relating. Those are likely UNICEF, MSF (Holland), ICRC, IRC, CRWRC(Food security) and some other several local NGOs.
After traveling in land and in some of African countries like Republic Democratic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya (Massai Land), Tanzania, South Africa, I have noticed that safe drinking water is a high need.
After working with Internationally Experienced like Lou Haveman and Jane Haveman, Keith Disselkoen etc who have also lived and worked in many of African countries like Nigeria, Sierra Lone, Liberia, Rwanda, Kenya, South Africa , Soudan etc they have also visited well over several African countries, and some of their children were born in Africa. Presently Lou and Jane live in Michigan and Keith works in Pakistan as assigned.
Many of you know that Rebero Robust Ministries Worldwide (RRMW) is our new business. It’s most of our time work and we are incredibly excited about the product we are making-the Sawyer Point One water Filter. We are planning to hebdomadary forward a newsletter update soon. We will let you know. Thank you.
Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of diseases and kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Children and infants are especially vulnerable, as their bodies aren’t strong enough to fight diarrhea, dysentery, and other illnesses. 90% of the 42,000 deaths that occur every week from unsafe water and unhygienic living conditions are children under five years old and many vulnerable women who may be pregnant or live with HIV/AIDS. Many of these diseases are preventable. The UN predicts that one tenth of the global disease burden can be prevented simply by improving water supply and sanitation. These are the reasons Théophile REBERO and his co-workers do what we do with the passion and seek your partnership, gift or help.
We aim at mobilizing and making awareness among the Churches, para-Churches, NGOs, local communities, schools, and what have, all over in Africa, Asia and elsewhere in terms of “capacity-building” and be thoroughly equipped to handle a Biblical mandate of view on safe and clean water for saving lives of many on this planet earth with a substantial longevity in their daily living.
